Payments

Customers' cards are debited automatically when the the order is placed. We prefer not to debit customers until we are ready to despatch their orders, but we have no control over this for online orders. We try to give priority to orders which have already been paid when we receive them and we can often despatch within two or three working days but we can't guarantee this, so if you would prefer that your card is not debited until the day of despatch please feel free to telephone us with your order.

Delivery

Orders are processed and despatched as quickly as possible, but although we can generally despatch within ten working days and often within 2 - 3 working days, it sometimes happens that a particular product has been especially popular and we have to re-stock. As we are a very specialist company we cannot easily buy in stock at short notice and manufacturers and suppliers may be working to capacity, so we ask customers to allow the mail order industry maximum delivery time of 30 days for delivery, although this is very, very rarely required.

Services used are:

  • UK Deliveries - Standard postage and packing in the UK is £4.50. All made to order garments must be sent by Special Delivery to ensure that they are not lost in the post, and they will be charged at cost, which is approximately an additional £4.
  • EU deliveries - Postage and packing to EU countries is estimated at no more than £20 which is taken as a deposit, but immediately the parcel has been weighed for posting any balance will be refunded to the customer.
  • Delivery Outside the EU - Postage and packing internationally is estimated at no more then £40, which is taken as a deposit, but immediately the parcel has been weighed for posting any balance will be refunded to the customer. We recommend that parcels are sent by Airsure when possible, which means it leaves on the next available plane after collection and is electronically tracked to its delivery point anywhere in the world.

Exchange/Returns

If, for any reason whatsoever, you are not completely satisfied with the item you have bought simply return it unworn and in new condition within 7 days and we will exchange or replace it or give you a full refund excluding delivery costs. If you return a garment please send by 2nd Class Post and obtain a Proof of Posting certificate for insurance purposes.  There is no need to waste money on recorded or special delivery posting, as the Proof of Posting certificate will suffice, so keep it safely.  Although we guarantee a refund, we feel you have ordered our garments because you require our specialized designs, and we would be happy to exchange your order for a different colour, size or style. There is a modified p&p charge of £3 for exchanges.

Please note that under no circumstances will we accept the return of a garment which shows signs of having been worn or tried on for an extended period. We reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of a garment which has been badly repacked so that it arrives in a crushed condition. In this case will will endeavour to press the garment and there will be a charge for handling it, but if it cannot be restored to perfect condition it will be returned to the customer. We cannot accept the return of a garment which has been worn and washed for several weeks and then shows signs of damage.

Damage to waistband fastening:- Hooks and bars are applied by special machinery, and are thoroughly tested to ensure that they are properly secured on the fabric. Occasionally a hook or bar has come off, and we have now discovered that this can happens because people are dressing while lying flat and then sitting up while the waistband is not correctly positioned, causing exceptional strain on the waistband fastening. It is important to close the zip but not fasten the waistband, then once seated in the chair with the waistband properly positioned around the waist, the hook and bar can be fastened. We will not accept responsibility for such damage, but will replace them if the garment is returned to us.

We reserve the right to decline any order without giving a reason. An automatic acknowledgement of receipt of an order does not constitute acceptance. An order, whether by phone, post or online, has not been formally accepted until it has been manually checked, approved and processed, and entered into our order system.

Designs, Colours & Colour Reproduction / Website Images

Colours shown are as close to actual fabric colour as printing processes will permit. If you require an exact match please contact us and we will be happy to send swatches of fabric.

In the interest of continual product development, we reserve the right to change garment features or designs at our discretion.

Prices

Every effort is made to ensure that the prices shown in the catalogue and on our website are correct, but we will not be responsible for mispricing caused by human or electronic error. Disabled people buying clothing or products specifically designed to meet their requirements - or people buying on their behalf - may claim relief from VAT. Where a product may be worn or used by a non-disabled person VAT must be charged. When VAT is applied this will be shown. Organisations registered for VAT must pay a higher VAT inclusive price.
