Children's Neckerchiefs
We wanted to offer a neckerchief which could be washed at higher temperatures and spin and dry more easily, so we came up with our absorbent cotton, fleece-backed neckerchief, which has been a great success with carers and wearers.
The upper side is 100% absorbent soft cotton, but it is backed with a fine, lightweight polyester fleece which keeps the damp cotton away from clothes while allowing air to pass through, and this helps keep the cotton dry and comfortable for much longer, so fewer changes are required. An all-round winner! It is so much easier to launder than traditional, plastic-backed products.
We have now made the fastening adjustable so that one size fits up to approx. age 13, when the adjustable adult size takes over. There is an good range of colours, but please note that should a requested colour be out of stock we reserve the right to complete your order promptly by sending an appropriate alternative colour, (ie, light, dark, for a boy, for a girl)
In response to requests from parent we now have five neckerchiefs in school uniform colours - white, navy, grey, burgundy and royal.
(For your info: We are often asked why we do not make patterned neckerchiefs. The reason is that as a pattern would have to be printed on with textile paint, no patterned part would absorb moisture and this would greatly reduce the absorbency and efficiency of the excellent material we use.)
