Standard width ladies footwear is a “D” fitting, followed by “E”, “EE” etc.
Each additional “E” fitting offers extra width and depth to the internal dimensions of the shoe to accommodate wider feet or custom orthotic insoles.
Sandpiper shoes are available in either extra wide fitting (4E-6E) or ultra wide fitting (6E-8E). Remember, “6E” fitting is shorthand for “EEEEEE”.
The ultra wide fitting range includes sandals and shoes with a width fitting of 6E or above. Our ultra wide ladies shoes utilise our standard 3-in-1-fitting system, with two removable insoles giving three fitting options on each foot as shown on fitting diagram.
